In the United Kingdom, new regulations are being implemented, seemingly influenced by chemical companies. Farms in the Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) can no longer use orange oil or monosilicic acid as insecticides. Potassium silicate is permitted to correct nutrient deficiencies.
